Unvaccinated kids will not be allowed to enter colleges: Haryana govt.

The Minister issued the instruction throughout a gathering with officers to overview the present COVID-19 scenario within the state.

“During the meeting, the Health Minister urged all the parents of children between 15 to 18 years of age to get their wards vaccinated at the earliest, as when the schools open, those who have not been vaccinated will not be allowed to enter the school,” an official assertion mentioned.

Over 15 lakh kids in Haryana between 15-18 years of age are eligible to get Covid vaccine and vaccination for this age group began on January 3.

With the State witnessing huge surges in coronavirus circumstances, Mr. Vij mentioned two nodal officers might be appointed for every district, out of which one officer will monitor preparations on the authorities hospitals and the opposite in personal ones.

These nodal officers will present details about the preparations obtainable within the hospitals to the State authorities, he mentioned.
