Forge FC will go into the second leg of its CONCACAF league semi-final subsequent week, in search of a street objective because the two-time Canadian Premier League (CPL) champs performed to a 2-2 draw with FC Motagua of Honduras.
The Hamilton-based membership acquired late second-half objectives Wednesday evening from pair of Central American forwards on mortgage, Joshua Navarro within the 83rd minute and stoppage time effort from Omar Browne to salvage the tie.
The second leg of the two-game playoff will occur on Dec. 1 at Estadio Tiburcio Carías Andino in Tegucigalpa.
Upon their return residence subsequent week, Forge will look to develop into three time CPL champions once they tackle Pacific FC within the league ultimate at Tim Horton’s Subject on Dec. 5.
