BJP blames Maharashtra govt for coal scarcity at energy crops

Mumbai: The opposition BJP in Maharashtra on Thursday stated the Shiv Sena-led MVA authorities was solely liable for scarcity of coal which has affected energy technology at thermal crops within the state.

State BJP chief spokesperson Keshav Upadhye alleged that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) authorities’s “irresponsible” steps had been accountable for the coal scarcity.

Upadhye stated, “Coal India Ltd on March 9 this yr had requested all thermal energy crops to carry and inventory enough coal. “Sharad Pawar has time to comment on what happened to farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri (in Uttar Pradesh), but ignores the fact that over 2,000 farmers have committed suicide in Maharashtra. He has no time for the Maharashtra farmers who are allegedly ending their life due to crisis in the agriculture sector,” he stated.
