Authorities approves 31 proposals for telecom PLI scheme entailing Rs 3,345 crore funding – Occasions of India

The DoT notified the PLI scheme for telecom and networking merchandise on February 24, 2021, with a monetary outlay of Rs 12,195 crore, over the 5 years.
The scheme for telecom gear manufacturing in India is anticipated to encourage the manufacturing of kit price Rs 2.44 lakh crore and create direct and oblique employment for about 40,000 individuals.
